zubat and happiness. I want a crobat

I want a crobat. if I catch a zubat at lvl 5 it will gain happiness now or it will just gain happiness once he evolves? thanx.

Evolve you zubat into golbat and the give it loads of irons,carbons and all the rest and then take it to castellia i think its call and take it for a massage on the street to the right of the pokemon centre the it is your building on the left and then the first woman inside will give your pokemon a massage. Also if you battle with it or leave it at the front of your party then its happines should go up.
