Would a Pokémon with Poison Touch be able to poison a Pokémon with Magic Bounce?

I am curious because I am planning to write a Pokémon fanfic, and I want the battle to be accurate.

Yes, Pokemon with Poison Touch can poison Pokemon with Magic Bounce.Magic Bounce bounces backstatus moves, such asStealth Rock,Thunder Wave, andTaunt. Poison Touch gives moves thatmake contacta 30% chance of poisoning the foe. As Poison Touch isn’t a status move itself, but an added effect, Magic Bounce won’t activate.

Inthis replay, Toxicroak’sToxicgot bounced back, butKnock Offstill managed to poison Hatterene. Magic Bouncecan’tbounce back added effects of moves, such as the freeze chance from Ice Beam, or the burn chance from Flamethrower.

Seethis pagefor info on Contact moves, andthis onefor info on Magic Bounce. Hoped this helps.
