Will Bug Bite eat the opponents Berry even if the user has an item?
Nov. 2, 2020So if I Mega Evolve Scizor will it still eat the berry? Will the Berry be immediately eaten without waiting? For example, I use Bug Bite against a Serperior with an Aguav Berry and my HP isn’t down to 1/4 yet, will I still eat it?

Bug Bite will immediately consume the opponent’s berry.
Bug Bite deals damage, and if the target is holding a Berry, the user eats it and gains its effect. For example, if the target is holding a Sitrus Berry the user will recover 1⁄4 of its HP.
