Why won't SoulSilver load the save file on my DS but work on 3DS?

So I’m playing Pokémon soul silver on ds and after losing to jasmine I reset my game by turning the game on and off and after selecting the file the game is stuck on a black loading screen, I swapped over to my 3ds and soul silver loaded properly. Then I put in Pokémon heart gold and the game loaded properly in the ds. I don’t know why soul silver won’t load specially on my DS after it did before and I need it to work on DS to trade my gen 3 Pokemon to gen 9, I’m not playing up to fuchsia city on heart hold cuz I’m hunting a shiny starter.

Likely because it is fake.

The cartridge, which is usually black, is said to be grey. If we wanted to prove its validity further, we could look at the numbers on the cartridge or something, but this seems like enough to say that it’s totally fake, and it seems like you’ve gotten that figured anyways. As it is fake, it is more likely to have issues that an official copy wouldn’t.
