Why does Poké Transporter autolock to my Virtual Console Pokémon game rather than my DS game card?
Jan. 15, 2018I want to transfer my old Pokémon from Platinum to Ultra Moon but whenever I open Poké Transporter, it automatically assumes I want to transfer Pokémon from my Virtual Console Yellow game. I don’t want to delete my Yellow game. Surely there must be a way to transfer from both. Please help!!! Thanks in advance. Please try to answer ASAP.

Poke Transporter can only transfer Pokemon from theGeneration VDS games (Black, White, Black 2 & White 2).
In order to perform your desired transfer, you need to first transfer your Pokemonfrom Platinum to Black/White/Black 2/White 2. This involves two DS consoles and your Gen V game should be able to access the Poke Transfer Lab.
From there, Poke Transporter should recognise your Gen V game and you can perform a transfer from Gen V to Gen VII.
