Why can't I catch legendaries at mirage spots?

So in conclusion you probably are just re-visiting one of your old mirage spots wher you fainted the previous Pokemon or caught it. Try another one or try again tomorrow.

i heard that legendaries can only be caught between a 12 hour period. I had the same problem until I tried later that night and now I’m catching Virizion right now
