Which type has had the most gym leaders and which has had the least gym leaders?
Feb. 21, 2013I was just wanting to know but I do not want dark for the least gym leaders since it has absolutely no gym leaders of that type (but somehow has an elite 4)

As of Generation 9, the most used type for gyms isWaterwith eight different gyms using Water type Pokemon primarily. Water is used by Misty, Wallace, Juan, Crasher Wake, Cress, Marlon, Nessa, and Kofu.
The gym with the least used type however isDarkwith only one gym using Dark type Pokemon primarily. This lone gym leader being Piers.
