Where is competitive battling done?
Aug. 5, 2013I may sound dumb so please don’t comment on this, but I know competitive battling is done on servers such as Amethyst.psim.us but what about WiFi. Is it done on here too? I have never had a competitive battle on my DSi so I am unsure.

Whoopdedoop I’m a complete idiot I forgot about Random BattleSo yeah you can enter ‘competitive’ battles through the Random Battle in the Global Link. Pokemon are all lowered to level 50 there. :D’Within the Global Link, there is the Global Battle Union feature. This feature essentially gives a ranking system for the battles you partake in through the Random Match feature of the game, speciafically when it’s a Rating Mode battle. Each player starts off with a point value of 1500 and when you win or lose in a Random Match battle, the score will go up and down depending on how well you have done'^Serebii
Anyway you can also enter other kind of tournaments like global tourneys (Pokemon Video Game World Championships or something like that) though I don’t relaly think there’s a ranking system for that.
