When have HMs been used outside of the games?

I was just wondering because I never see them Fly anywhere, and it seems like every time they travel on the water, it’s by boat, or a ride Pokemon, or Ash never actually says ___ use Surf, they just swim. As for the other HMs, if used, could you please say when, or at least how many times it’s used in the anime? Thanks so much for all the responses!

According to bulbapedia, it has only showed up in Pokemon Origins when cut was given to red by the Captain of the S.S. Anne.

Other than that, nothing else in the anime.

The manga had Red having a bunch of HMs, namely Cut, Strength and Flash. Misty’s krabby had surf. Blue had surf before red. In Pokemon Zensho, Satoshi got the Cut HM from the captain of the S.S. AnneSource
