when can you nickname if a Pokemon’s transferred from home?

i can’t remember…

unless…. unless it’s BECAUSE I transferred them to home then arceus?

In Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!, Let’s Go, Eevee!, Legends: Arceus, Scarlet, and Violet, a Pokémon can be given a nickname or have its nickname changed at any time on its status screen.

As of Gen 8, any Pokemon traded or transferred from another game thatdoes not have a nicknamewill be allowed to have it’s nickname changed, once. Pokemon from other countries who’s name changes because of language will also not be able to be nicknamed.

If your Pokemon have not been nicknamed and I presume are the same language then they should be able to be nicknamed.
