What's the point of the bell on top of Celestial Tower?

what is the point of the bell on top of I think Celestial tower does it even do something since it has these"….‘‘so I think something can happen.

In Black 2 and White 2, after you enter the Hall of Fame, there’s a couple in Humilau City. Talking to them will require you to ring the Celestial Tower bell. Doing so will make them give you a Revive.

So there is, in fact, a purpose to the bell.

There is no in-game point to it, like ring it and a Pokemon appears. It just there as a symbol of the tower. If anything, it makes the trip to the top less pointless.

Not every thing in the game has a direct point like the Abundant Shrine or whatnot.
