What's a good hold item for Chandelure?
Mar. 29, 2014This is for my in-game team, and I can’t get the Spooky Plate/Flame Plate til post-game in Black/White and gems are one time use only. I’m debating between Charcoal and Wise Glasses(wise glasses raises the power of special moves)(Chandelure would know two fire-type moves and two ghost-type moves, though if more coverage is needed, I’m willing to sacrifice. I was considering replacing one ghost type move with a grass-type now that I think of it).So…Charcoal, Wise Glasses, or a separate hold item all together?

Life Orb.This item on Chandelure gives it insane power, while sacrificing health you can gain back through Pain Split(learnt at Level - by Chadelure, relearn at Move Relearner). Here’s just how much damage a Level 75 Chandelure with Life Orb can do:
