What happens when a Pokemon is getting more than 4 egg moves?
Dec. 29, 2013I am going to breed a baby growlithe using my male espeon and my female growlithe(1). My growlithe(1) has close combat, heat wave, crunch and flare blitz in that order; and my espeon will have morning sun. I want my baby growlithe to have CC, FB, and MS. I can think of three possibilities:
-all the egg moves will be random-morning sun will definately be there (as it is from the male), and the rest random-morning sun will be there, and the moves from the female will have some code or stuffz to it like: only the first three moves will be transferred to the baby.

Male Movesets override the Female Movesets.That means one of the moves will definitely be Morning Sun. Close Combat, Flare Blitz, Crunch and Heat Wave will be randomly distributed throughout the moveset. Possible movesets are:
Morning SunClose CombatFlare BlitzCrunch
Morning SunClose CombatFlare BlitzHeat Wave
Morning SunClose CombatHeat WaveCrunch
Morning SunHeat WaveFlare BlitzCrunch
