What happens if you get the dlc pokedex before going to the isle of armor?

So in sword or shield, if you get the isle of armor pokedex (via trade) before you buy the dlc (or get to the point in the game where you can go there) and then get the dlc, does anything special happen? (P.s. also what happens if you get it normally? I haven’t gotten the dlc dex yet.[why,pinsirandclauncher?!]);

Nothing ‘special’ will happen. Although, as normal and as if you bought the DLC before Pokédex completion, if you speak to the scientist who gave you a Pokédex in the first place, you will get a short dialogue and the reward as normal.
