A glass cannon is a (usually) fast Pokemon used in competitive battling that is fast and can deal out heavy blows, but not take them. Examples of this are Pokemon such as Greninja, Jolteon, Blaziken, Alakazam, Gengar, and more.

Refers to a Pokémon set with comparatively high Attack and/or Special Attack that, due to its combination of HP and Defense/Special Defense, takes a comparatively high percentage of damage from damage-dealing moves.
Basically a Pokemon that can’t take hits, but can definitely give them.
