What decides a Pokemon's breeding compatability

I want to know so I can make it always fast as possible. So what decides that they “dont seem to like eachother much” or “Seem to get along”?

They’re nature and breeding group.Edit: so it turns out its the ID number and species. I did read somewhere that nature affects it
