In short, you breed pokemon by putting two compatible pokemon in the daycare. After a while you will get an egg, which will hatch into the female pokemon you put in day care.

Moves that the male pokemon knows can be passed down to the egg. Egg moves are special moves that the pokemon does not normally learn but the father knows.

You breed pokemon by having a ditto and a pokemon that can breed, like torterra. But some pokemon cannot breed like legendaires.

Egg moves are moves learned by the pokemon that hatched from the egg. And possible moves the pokemon inside the egg can learn.
