And please include whether mega launcher boosts it by 1.2x or 1.5x.Thanks in advance!

You can only have one Mega-Evolved Pokemon in your team therefore the move you teach it should depend on whether it Mega evolves or not.

Blastoise@Blastoisinite (Mega-Blastoise): Water Pulse:Becomes a STAB move with 90 base power (1.5 increase due to the ability Mega Launcher) that can cause confusion.

Blastoise: Scald:A STAB move with 80 base power that can burn the opponent.

Water Pulsehave a 60 BP and its a Special Attack and may cause Confusion.Scaldhave 80 BP and its a Special Attack and may cause Burn.

Mega Launcher- Increases the power of Aura and Pulse moves by50%

Water Pulse’s BP 60 + 50% = 90 BP x 1.5 (STAB) = 135 BPScald’s BP 80 x 1.5 (STAB) = 120 BP

Confusion = 20%Burn = 30%

GO FOR WATER PULSE BECAUSE ITS 135 BASE POWER AND SCALD IS 120 BASE POWER.
