Was the Victini special encounter in CT ever confirmed to be true/possible?
Aug. 18, 2021When the CT came out, dataminers found that a static Victini encounter was in the game. Many people tried in countless different ways to see if a Victini could appear, (by doing all the possibilities in the Galarian Star Tournament, for example.)
Was it ever confirmed that there was a Victini in CT somewhere, maybe as an event, or was it written off as just an unfinished code?

When the Crown Tundra first came out, there were dataminers whofound encounter data on Victini, including a shiny lock and that it would be found at level 70. However, after nearly a year, nobody has been able to find any encounter with Victini. This probably means that Victini was planned to be obtainable with the 2nd expansion, but scrapped before release.
