Using Return while under the effects of Intimidate and Growl?

I was playing my HeartGold earlier and I was trying to get my Eevee to evolve into an Umbreon, so I gave it a Soothe Bell and started training it. It didn’t evolve until level 42 unfortunately, but I taught it Return. And I was wondering:If my Pokemon knows Return and the foe has the ability Intimidate and uses Growl, does that effect how much Return’s damage is based on the happiness?

Its base power isn’t affected, only your Pokemon’s attack is affected by growl and intimidate.However it isn’t affected by Mirror Coat and Snatch.

Uh No. There are No moves that lower or effect happiness in any way. The only reason Return will be affected by those moves is because they Lower Attack and Return is a Physical move. The only ways to lower happiness (And consequently lower the power of Return) are to Faint it, use an Energy/Heal powder, use an Energy root, use a Revival herb. Also if you trade a Pokemon it’s happiness gets reset to 70.Source
