Snivy wont learn any egg moves
Jul. 9, 2011Okay im trying to make a army of snivys (IDK why) but I want them to have egg moves like mirror coat and all that but they end up learning swords dance at hatching which is a move my serperior knows.

The pokemon you use to breed Snivy have to know the moves you want it to get. They learn the moves in this order:

The pokemon you are breeding has to know Mirror coat in order to get mirror coat.Simple as that.
Do either of the parents have mirror coat? If not, one of the parents must have mirror coat. Here are Pokemon in the field or grass egg group (snivy’s egg groups) that learn mirror coat throughlevel up- lopunny and glaceon. Other Pokemon that learn throughbreeding- girafarig, spoink and grumpig. If you want any other egg moves, just search which Pokemon can pass them down.
