Slowbro and Slowking Pokedex confusion.
Jan. 18, 2011How come it says in Pokedex entries that those 2 pokemon were bitten by Shellder when the pokemon looks nothing like Shellder? Here is a link that says that for Slowking:

Pokedex entries aren’t to be taken literally, per say, in the games. No, the pokemon looks nothing like Shellder, but in the anime when Shellder bites it to evolve, both of them change form. However in the games when Slowpoke evolves, Shellder isn’t needed or seen. So basically in the games, the pokedex isn’t exactly “accurate”, like the pokedex says Arcanine is a Legendary Pokemon, when its actually not.
The reasonn for this is the shelder bites slowpokes tail to beable to be able to move on land he looks so different because… think of it like a different evolution.hope i helped u
