Should I make my Samurott a Ph. Sweeper or a Tank?
Feb. 18, 2017Im not sure if I should go for the Tank or Ph. Swepper on my Samurott.Please help me out or tell me, I would really like to know before its too late and I make a mistake.Thanks!

The reason I say this is that a Tank must take hits, something Samurott’s not too good at. The obvious reason is how common Thunderbolt is in the meta-game.
Ingame, either is fine, and the moveRevengeis specially helpful here. By specially, I mean physically. Whatever. Moving on, in-game the foes don’t hit as hard, as they’re not EV trained, and if you EV Train Samurott in HP you can make it work.
Whereas in the meta there’s no such scope for taking hits, and it’s better off as a Attacking Pokemon. Some sets run Mixed with partial success, but a Physical generally works better:
Samurott @ Choice Band / Life Orb252 Attack / 252 Speed / 4 HP
There’s also an option of Smart Strike, for Gen 7. Ignore Swords Dance if Banded.
Of course, here’s a Special set too:
Samurott @ Life Orb252 Special Attack / 252 Speed / 4 HP
