Raising the chance of getting a shiny Pokemon using more than the masuda method?

If you were to breed a shiny ditto with a non-shiny Pokemon, would your chances rise of the Pokemon being shiny with ditto being shiny when doing the masuda method? No, Pokemon being a shiny does not influence chances of it’s offspring being a shiny in any way.

Unfortunately the parents' shiny status don’t affect the offspring D:However, a good way to increase the chances of the offspring being shiny is by possessing theShiny Charm(Gen V only).
