Is there a way to escape the "Candice's Killhole" softlock in BDSP?
Nov. 22, 2021Okay, so in case you don’t know, there’s a softlock that is recently discovered in BDSP, that is in Candice’s gym. I can’t explain it clearly, butthis videoby DistantKingdom explains everything. Other than that, I don’t really see other people doing/experiencing the softlock, however it is quite well known.
As for what I call the softlock…don’t question it.

The only way to get out of a softlock is to reset your game. That’s how these kinds of things work. In the video, that guy permanently softlocks himself by saving in there.

Another interesting thing about Candice’s gym in this game is thatyou can finish it in two movesbecause of the ability to walk diagonally.
In Generation VIII by pressing the button ↑ + X + B combination in the title screen players can choose to load a backup save file.
It is possible by loading a previous save file.
