Is there a way to avoid the "Could not be found" message while chaining on the DexNav?

There isn’t a way of avoiding it completely, but you can try and deal with them
Try coming out the Patch of Grass you are chaining in and walk/run around . Donotleave the Route however as it will break your chain
Open your bag and come out and try again
If a Pokémon cannot be found, the DexNav will display the message, “It couldn’t be found nearby. Try looking in a different spot!”
As it’s completely based on RNG, it is unavoidable thus you cannot find a way to make that message stop popping up. You can try using a different patch of grass without exiting said route tp try and search again, or using methods that resets the counter works.
