Is the lake trio accessed when loss to the elite four in gen 4?
Sep. 7, 2016I was playing Pokemon pearl when I got to the elite four. while I was standing in front of flint I was wondering “Well my sister encountered the lake trio after she lost to the elite four, can I encounter it? I didn’t even lose yet.” just so you know, my sister is not a hacker. so… yeah. is it possible? (my title is stupid)

Yes it is possible to catch the lake trio before the elite four. You can catch the lake trio before you even fight Volkner.
Yes. You can catch the lake trio as soon as you beat Cyrus on spear pillar and battle the game exclusive legendary Mespirit’s cave is in Lake Verity right next to Twin leaf town. Uxie’s cave is in Lake Acuity right next to Snowpoint city. Azelf’s cave is in Lake Valor right around route 214. Remember that Mespirit is a roamer. Be sure to stock up on balls before challenging these Pokemon.
