Is quick claw banned?
Jan. 27, 2013I’ve seen different sources saying it was banned, but some saying that it isn’t; it’s useable in regular battles on Showdown, but I though Smogon had it banned, so I’m not sure.
I’m just getting really ticked off when someone puts quick claw on an already fast Pokemon so they can bypass Scarfed Pokemon. I remember seeing somewhere that this was the reason Quick Claw was banned, because you can just hax troll the whole game.

No it is not banned, we usually ban it in DB tournaments but on places like Showdown or PO it is unbanned. However, due to its unreliability, I highly recommend you don’t use it.
Quick Claw is not banned by smogon. It is frowned upon however, due to its reliance on hax.
