Is it possible to trade Pokemon from Gen-4 to Gen-5 using GTS?

I know that it is possible to trade between Gen-4 gameslike betweenDPP and HGSS but is it possible to trade between DPP/HGSS to BW/B2W2 using GTS. If there is a easier and alternative method to trade/transfer from Gen-4 to Gen-5 alsoo include it in your answers.

No. You cannot trade Pokemon between two generations, only between games from the same generation. Even if you do a link trade it won’t be possible. The only way to transfer Pokemon from gen four to five is via the poke transfer. You can read more about it here

The inability to trade isn’t just strictly between gens four and five. You cannot trade between generations in all the main series game with the exception of gens one and two
