Is it possible to reset to recruit the Seven Treasures legendaries?

If I saved prior to accepting the quest from the job list and going to one of the areas, would I be able to just keep defeating the legendary and resetting if I do not successfully recruit it until I recruit it?

Also, when does the recruit screen occur? Is it after obtaining the treasure? Before it? Or do I have to actually go through the dungeon and fight it againafterobtaining the treasure to have a change at recruiting it?

My apologies for the dumb question, the dungeons for these legendaries are stupidly tedious and I just want to make sure I’m doing it right. Thanks in advance!

You can recruit them the first time. The recruit scene occurs after obtaining the treasure. So yes, you can keep resetting to recruit it.
