Is it possible to obtain Espeon/Umbreon without a sun shard/moon shard in Pokemon XD?

I ask this because in Pokemon XD, there is only one fire stone not counting the gateon port gift. If it were possible to evolve Eevee into Espeon/Umbreon without that gift, it would be possible to evolve both Vulpix and Growlithe.

I ask if there’s any way available that does not involve transfers.

The Sun Shard is the only possible way to evolve an Eevee into an Espeon in Orre, due to the lack of time-based events in the games taking place in said region.

The Moon Shard is the only possible way to evolve an Eevee into an Umbreon in Orre, due to the lack of time-based events in the games taking place in said region.

Youhaveto use the shards, since there is no time based events in Pokémon XD

You can trade one into it from emerald but I think that’s only after you beat the game
