Is Arceus an event Pokemon, if not how do you get it?

Arceus is only obtainable via event as for Dialga and Palkia they can only be found in Diamond / Pearl / Platinum.(I did not include the ones from HG/SS because they need Arceus to get them.)
To catchArceus, you need an Azure Flute. Unfortunately, the even to get theAzure Flutehas passed.__However, you can catchDialgaat theSpear Pillar,but only in Diamond and Platinum._You can catchPalkiaat theSpear Pillar,but only in Pearl and Platinum.
Arceus has always been an event exclusive Pokemon.
In D/P/PT/HG/SS- There was an event that made you obtain the Heaven’s Pipe. When you got to Spear Pillar the Pipe would sound, and a staircase would appear that would lead you to Arceus who was ready for battle, at lv.80- There was another Event20095 November 2009-16 November 2009 (for other countries)Japan18 July 2009- 30 September
America7 November- 15 November. They gave a special Arceus that unlocked events in both PT and HG/SS
