If you tricked away an item can you use recycle to get it back?

Say you used trick to give someone a flame orb or something, and the opponent didn’t have an item. With these variables, you will have no hold item. If you were to use recycle, would you get the item back? Same thing with Fling if you fling the item away.

Recycle can recover items consumed by Bug Bite, Fling, Natural Gift, and Pluck,but not items lost by Covet, Knock Off, Switcheroo, Thief, or Trick.- PokemonDB

No. For starters Recycle only works on single-use items so you can’t recycle items like Flame Orb or Life Orb. Also you can’t recycle items which you gave away - since technically they havn’t been ‘consumed’
