No, It will not work because it has to be 2 Pokemon from different language games.

Example: Japanese Ditto + English Golurk = Increased chance of shiny Golett egg.

I am 99% sure not. You have to have a Pokemon native to the language the game is played on, and a Pokemon from a foreign language cartridge/save file.

E.g.:• A Spanish Skitty and a Spanish Wailord on a English game: NO• A Spanish Skitty and a English Wailord on a Japanese game: NO• A Japanese Skitty and a Japanese Wailord on a Japanese game: NO• A Spanish Skitty and a English Wailord on an English game: YES
