I have a Masuda method question?

Just a quick question,If you can breed a JPN ditto with another Pokemon to have a better chance of getting a shiny.Could you breed a normal ditto with a JPN Pokemon? and still have the same chance?

The masuda method increases the chance a Pokemon is shiny when breeding with 2 Pokemon from different countries

Which means if you use a JPN Pokemon and a normal ditto, you should still have that increased shiny chance.

The Masuda method involves breeding two Pokémon created in games of different countries.

Yep, you would.

People just like using Ditto because it can breed with any Pokemon, so you’d have an increased chance of getting any shiny Pokemon. But yes, a normal Ditto and a JPN Pokemon can breed together and the Masuda Method will be in place.
