How to SR for the Legendary Birds in X?
Feb. 21, 2015I’m planning on restarting my Pokémon X and choosing Fennekin so that I can get Zapdos as my Legendary Bird. However, I’m wondering how you soft reset for a 5IV one, since they roam around randomly. Can anyone offer any tips or tricks to SRing for Zapdos/Moltres/Articuno?
P.S. I will be using my Master Ball to save time.

After defeating the Elite Four, several Pokémon start to roam theregion, Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. However, you will only get one:Articuno if you picked Chespin, Zapdos if you picked Fennekin andMoltres if you picked Froakie. However, a change has taken placecompared to previous games. These Pokémon will automatically flee fromcombat, before you even get a chance to select a move. You can tracktheir location with the Pokédex. After they have run from you over adozen times, they will go to the Sea Spirit’s Den where you canfinally battle them.
From SerebiiSo you must track Zapdos a dozen times to then find it in the Sea Spirit’s Den. There, it will adopt a fix location, perfect for Soft Resetting it.
