How much does my attack stat need to be boosted by to get over the Burn attack drop?

Bearing in mind that being inflicted with a burn halves your overall Attack (50%) ideally, you would need a move that increases your attack stat by 2 stages (if you want it done in one go) or 1 stage (for it to be done in two goes).
Correct me if I’m wrong on this situation.
Another thing to bare in mind is that a burn takes out 1/8 of your health each time - therefore, I imagine that rather than trying to neutralise the loss of the attack, it’s better to put something in place (e.g. a Lum Berry) that gets rid of the burn immediately.
As being burned halves your Attack, you need todouble your Attackto get over the Burn drop
