How many battles/levels does it take to get golbat to max friendship and evolve?

It depends on how much it faints. If your Golbat faints a lot, its friendship will lower and it’ll take longer to evolve. Using herbal medicines will also lower friendship. A Soothe Bell will increase friendship gained by 50%. So there would really be no way to tell when your Golbat will evolve since there is not a set number. Golbat needs to gain 36 levels.
