How does Feint work with King's Shield?

I am fully aware that Feint would normally have no effect on Aegislash. This is specifically for Mega Pinsir, whose Aerilate ability makes Feint a Flying move and thus it can hit Aegislash.

Feint, when used, breaks the opponent’s Protect / Detect / King’s Shield / Spiky Shield. When a contact move is used on King’s Shield, the opponent’s Attack stat is lowered by -2 stages. I am pretty sure that Feint is a contact move.

Will Mega Pinsir receive the Attack drop? Or will it not activate be activated because Feint broke King’s Shield?

Feint from Mega Pinsir will bypass an Aegislash King Shield. I was honestly curious myself so I decided to test this with Sapphire Diance and the video below is the result.
