How do you soft reset on a DSi?

You need to click L+R+Start+Select all at the same time. On gameboy games it’s A+B+Start+Select all at same time. Remember to do it ALL AT THE SAME TIME, or it won’t work and it won’t soft reset… Lemme list them one more timsez.
For DS or Dsi games:
L+R+Start+Select
For Gameboy games:
A+B+Start+Select

Soft resetting (often shortened as SRing) is a feature found in themain series Pokémon games, with the exception of Pokémon Colosseum.
You have to press the following buttons at the same time:
I have done this before so I know.If you don’t press them together this will not work.This is just a way of resetting the game and takes less energy than switching on and off. Better for the DSi and the Game Chip too.Read this for more information.
