How do I get to Spiritomb in ORAS?

I’m in Sea Mauville, which is where it is, and I’m in this room where it might be. I enter the room, and it says “It feels as though you’re being watched”. So I just talk to random things, and then when I talk to a cabinet with a lot of books, it says something about Captain Stern and an Odd Keystone. So does that mean I have to talk to Stern, or keep talking to random things?

Lastly we have Spiritomb. Go to Sea Mauville and dive underwater to access the right half of the ship. The first door on your left as you surface is not what it seems…Examine the bookshelf in the room and you’ll be notified that you’re being watched. Save your game now! Open your bag and close it for a surprise encounter. Spiritomb knows Memento which will knock itself out so you may want to use a Quick Ball for this.
