How did a greninja use scald on my primal groudon when nobody used airlock,primordial sea, or cloud nine?

I was fighting someone and I had trevenent, primal groudon and rayquaza.He had lilligant, greninja and rotom-mow. No weather moves were used and his greninja used scald on primal groudon! how does that work? I’M SO ANGRYD:<AND HE MADE SWIFT MISSP.S his name is ZAC so if you fight him quit

Raquazza has Air lock as an ability which negated desolate land and mega rayquazza having delta stream, would’ve done the same.
