How can I make self-destruct and explosion stronger?
Jul. 10, 2013I noticed my Weezing hasn’t been dealing enough damage when it exploded. Usually, explosion and self-destruct would wipe the opponent out. It would be really helpful if someone gave me a tip. Thanks.

You can boost it up two ways, I recommend the second.
A) Silk ScarfB) Normal Gem
Both these items boost Normal type moves which by extension means Explosion and Self-Destruct.
Or you know, Choice Band, Life Orb, Muscle Band. Those are also items. Or EV training in Attack. ~trachy
The only true way is with the use of the Normal Gem, that boosts damage of Normal Type Moves, boosting it similar to a Life Orb.
Well, theSilk Scarfcan raise it’s power by 20%, and theNormal Gem(yeah, like exploding is normal) can increase the move by 50%, but is consumed after.
