Heracross and Pinsir breeding?

I have a friend with a Pinsir safari but don’t have one for Heracross, I traded like 5 people and none of them had a moxie Heracross to spare. So I was wondering, if I bred a male Pinsir with moxie and a female Heracross without, can the baby Heracross get the ability? I’ve checked and the two can breed with each other, and I know the baby Pokemon is whatever the mom is, but I can’t find anything about this. I’m just wondering.

If the father has got the Hidden Ability, there is a small chance that the offspring will also have their Hidden Ability.However, this only works if you are breeding with a Ditto.

So the answer to your question isno, since Heracross is not Ditto.
