Have any Pokémon received stat nerfs between generations?
Apr. 14, 2019I know there are a few cases of certain Pokémon’s stats being slightly buffed between generations (for example, Masquerain in Gen 7), but has the opposite ever happened?
Note: I am not counting any nerfs as a result of the Special stat being split in Gen 2.

Some of Aegislash’s base stats were 150 in gen 7, but they decreased to 140 in gen 8.
Aegislash is the first Pokémon to have its base stats lowered in a generation after its introduction and the only Pokémon whose base stats changed in Generation VIII.
