Female, male or genderless Pokémons?
Aug. 7, 2016Hi, I was playing Pokémon on my Gameboy nearly 20 years ago, but I’ve lost a lot of knowledge and need some help to get started again with the Pokémons and Poké Balls.I’ve checked out some lists on the internet (like this one:http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Pokémon_by_gender_ratio),and I’m wondering:How many of the Pokémons are males, how many are females and how many are genderless?Have a nice day :)

Some Pokemon, like Magnemite, never have genders. Some, like Gallade, are always male. That is listed on the Bulbapedia list that you read.However, most Pokemon have a 50% - 50% ratio of male to female. Some Pokemon, like Starters, have only a 1 in 8 chance of being female. Same with Luvdisc - it’s rare to find a male one. Generally, though, you’ll find Pokemon with a 50-50 chance. Not every Pokemon has a specific gender.
