Dry Skin Heliolisk Specs vs. Life Orb?

I’m currently running a specs Dry Skin Heliolisk on my rain team, but then I wondered, is life orb the better item choice, since Dry Skin covers the covers the HP loss and allows more freedom than specs?

Here’s his moveset:

Heliolisk @ Choice SpecsNature: TimidAbility: Dry Skin252 SpA/252 Spe/6 HPMoves:- Thunder- Surf- Focus Blast- Volt Switch

If you think that I should switch for life orb then please suggest an alternate move for Volt Switch, thanks - 3 -

I’d go with theChoice Specs.

The reason being is the conflicting neutral gain and loss of HP. BOTH will either take away (Life Orb) 1/8 of the maximum HP or restore it (Dry Skin). Basically, making it a waste especially if you’re going against a Pokémon that excels its speed.

Max Speed (348) + Choice Scarf =522 Speed.
