Does Zapdos have 4 wings in X/Y?
Aug. 17, 2014Zapdos seems like it has 4 wings in it’s X/Y model. The black ones on the back are separate, they’re not connected at all to the yellow wings. I saw this in the Pokedex and wonder if It’s true.

I’m on my phone so I can’t quote, but in the Biology section ofthis link, it states the black wing looking things on Zapdos are simply a layer of black feathers, and therefore it only had two wings like most of its other previous designs.

As you can see, the black wings arent connected to the yellow wings, but move with the same motion, that means Zapdos has 2 pairs of wings and 1 pair of muscles to operate said wings.
