Does an opponent Pokemon's burn Atk reduction get ignored by my Skeledirge with Unaware?
Jan. 10, 2023I believe all applicable stat changes, even those that would benefit me, get ignored. So if my opponent has had its attack or accuracy reduced, it would still hit me as though they weren’t.
Does Burn get ignored, too? I am assuming not, but I wanted to make sure before I recorded Skeledirge’s Tera Profile.

It doesn’t. THat’s what makes Skelecroc such a pain in the ass to deal with. You can see it in thisreplay. First hit does nineteen percent damage and burned hit does nine. Technically speaking,burndoesn’t modify any stats. It just cuts down any damage dealt by physical moves
Instead of modifying the Attack stat, a burn now technically halves the damage a burned Pokémon does with physical moves
