Do Critical hits ignore Burns?

I know it ignores negative stat changes, but does burn’s halved attack effect count? (For physical attacks, of course.)

In Generation 2, yes, the burn’s effect was ignored. Generation 3 onwards, however, it was taken into account.

In Generation 2, the halved attack from a burn is ignored if you land a critical hit. However, in Generation 3 onwards, the halved attack from a burn is no longer ignored when you land a critical hit.
